Well, I made a small weight cut in the sauna this morning: cut from 139 to 135 in about an hour. Wasn’t planning on it, but a team mate was making a cut so I decided I would too so she’d have someone in the sauna with her. Figured I should experience it at least once.
Since then, I’ve done 2 1/2 hours of massage work on the energy provided by a handful of frozen grapes. I’m actually feeling pretty good! Thankfully I’ve done fasts for spiritual reasons pretty regularly, so my body adapts fairly well. (Extra sleep helps a LOT!)
I’m meeting coach at the gym tomorrow morning at 5. It’s a 3 hour drive to Memphis.
After weigh ins I’ll have several hours to chill so I’m bringing oatmeal and fruit so I can fuel up a bit.
Took it easy with the training since Tuesday – hope I do well!
